Delightful, engaging, delicious…Secret Ingredient YEG is a secret to be shared!

One of the best food experiences I have ever had. The opportunity to not just learn to cook but learn about the culture around the food I was cooking was such a unique experience. The instructor was really engaging. I felt like she was a part of the group, working with us rather than dictating to us. The food was so flavourful and there was so much that my leftovers fed my family of 3 the next day!

An amazing experience. It is not every day you get to learn about Egyptian food from a cook who was actually born and raised there. Our instructor, Aya, was very knowledgeable and had great stories to share with the group. The food was delicious and Aya added some extras that she premade to make this a truly unique and wonderful event.

There are many cooking classes in Edmonton but none are as interesting and diverse as Secret Ingredient YEG. Learning how to cook traditional dishes from an Egyptian woman was so inspiring. Not only did I learn a lot about cooking but I now have delicious recipes that I will be adding to my supper repertoire. 10/10 recommend!!

Attended a cooking class with Secret Ingredient YEG for the first time and we had such a good experience! We attended the Indo-Fiji class and learned so much. The instructor had her mom as well and we got some 1:1 with her mom giving great tips on rolling the roti, figuring out when the curry is done, and even some stories from Fiji. Highly recommend, I would attend again!

The host and instructor were patient and welcoming. It was a fun group and the food was fantastic. I can’t wait to see what other classes they will be offering. on

We planned the event as a couple's outing and it turned into a social experience that was awesome. The leader put a lot of time and effort to show her culture through food which was a unique experience. We would definitely participate in this again.
